501c3.help is a service of IT Hub Service Inc. This page explains what happens to your phone number when you leave it on one of our pages.

What we collect

• your mobile phone number, which is required;
• your first name, only if you choose to give it;
• your browser time zone, so we never text you in the middle of your night;
• the time you submitted the form and the page you came from.

We do not ask for an email address, an account, or a password. There is nothing to sign in to.

Text messages

If you leave your phone number on one of our pages, we use it only to text you about the availability of the specific person you asked to talk to, and to connect that phone call. We do not sell, rent or share your phone number with anyone, including the person you are being connected with. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.

Phone calls

When both of you are free, we place a call to each side and connect the two. Neither of you sees the other's number: both calls come from our number. If you later decide to give the other person your contact details, that is a separate choice you make by replying to a text after the conversation. Nothing is shared unless you reply.

Who else sees your number

Nobody, apart from the telephone provider that carries the message and the call. We use Twilio for that. We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose your number, and we do not use it for marketing, ours or anyone else's.

Stopping and deleting

Reply STOP to any of our texts and we stop immediately and permanently. Reply 5 to a specific invitation and we stop texting you about that one person while leaving the others alone. To have your number deleted entirely, email us and it will be removed.

How long we keep it

Your number stays while you are waiting to talk to someone. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record that you did so, because the law requires us to honor it, and we delete the rest.
